Status Indicators
Section titled “Status Indicators”Connected
Section titled “Connected”Green indicator shows:
- Avatar is active
- Ready to converse
- All systems working
Thinking
Section titled “Thinking”Brief pause while:
- Processing response
- Formulating answer
- Natural conversation pace
Speaking
Section titled “Speaking”Indicator shows when:
- Avatar is talking
- Audio is playing
- Mouth animation active
Listening
Section titled “Listening”Shows when:
- Waiting for guest
- Processing speech
- Ready for input
Status Issues
Section titled “Status Issues”Reconnecting
Section titled “Reconnecting”Yellow indicator means:
- Temporary disruption
- Auto-reconnect in progress
- Usually resolves quickly
Disconnected
Section titled “Disconnected”Red indicator means:
- Connection lost
- Meeting may have ended
- Refresh might help
Join Delay Warnings
Section titled “Join Delay Warnings”If the AI avatar takes longer than expected to join:
Slow Join (15 seconds)
Section titled “Slow Join (15 seconds)”A warning message appears letting the guest know the avatar is connecting. This is usually a brief delay.
Extended Delay (45 seconds)
Section titled “Extended Delay (45 seconds)”A fallback message appears with an option to schedule a meeting with a human instead. The avatar may still connect — this provides an alternative if there’s a longer issue.
These warnings clear automatically once the avatar joins.
