Ending a Meeting Early

Sometimes you’ll want to stop a conversation while it’s still in progress — whether the discussion has run its course, you’d rather take it from here, or something isn’t going as planned.

How to End a Live Conversation

Open the Conversations page and find the conversation in the Live section.
On its card, choose to end (or leave) the conversation.
A confirmation dialog appears — confirm to proceed.

Once confirmed, the conversation wraps up and moves into your Past conversations, where the transcript and recording are saved.

Taking Over Instead

If you’d prefer to keep the conversation going yourself rather than end it, use Take Over on the live card. This removes your agent and hands the meeting to you. See Live Conversations for all the live controls.
