Bot Mode Selection

Choose how BuzzTrail participates in your meetings.

AI Avatar Mode

Your AI representative conducts the meeting autonomously.

How it works:

• AI avatar appears on video
• Speaks and responds naturally
• Follows your sales methodology
• Captures full transcript

Best for:

• Discovery calls
• Initial qualification
• Demo requests
• After-hours meetings

You can still:

• Monitor live from dashboard
• Intervene if needed
• End early if necessary

Notetaker Mode

AI joins silently to record and transcribe.

How it works:

• Joins as “BuzzTrail Notetaker”
• No video or audio output
• Captures everything said
• Generates transcript after

Best for:

• Meetings you attend
• Important calls to reference later
• Training data collection

Participants see:

• A notification that recording is active
• Standard meeting recording indicators

Switching Modes

You can change bot mode before a meeting starts:

1. Find the meeting in Upcoming
2. Click edit (pencil icon)
3. Select new bot mode
4. Save changes

Once a meeting starts, the mode cannot be changed.
