Account Setup

Setting up your BuzzTrail account takes just a few minutes. This guide walks you through each step of the onboarding process.

Sign Up Options

BuzzTrail offers two ways to create an account:

Click “Continue with Google” to sign in with your Google account. This is the fastest option and automatically connects your Google Calendar for meeting sync.

Enter your email address and click “Send Magic Link.” Check your inbox for an email with a secure sign-in link. Click the link to complete authentication - no password required.

Step 1: Choose Your Avatar

After signing in, you’ll select the AI avatar that will represent you in meetings.

What to consider:

  • Choose an avatar that matches your professional context
  • The avatar will appear on video during AI-conducted meetings
  • You can change your avatar selection later in Settings

Browse the available avatars, click on one to preview, and select “Continue” when you’ve made your choice.

Step 2: Select Your Framework

Next, choose the sales methodology your avatar will follow during conversations.

Available frameworks include:

  • MEDDIC - For enterprise sales with complex buying processes
  • BANT - Classic budget, authority, need, timeline qualification
  • SPIN - Situation, problem, implication, need-payoff questioning
  • Challenger - Teaching and tailoring approach
  • Custom - Define your own conversation structure

The framework guides how your AI avatar asks questions and qualifies prospects. Select the methodology that matches your sales process.

Step 3: Complete Your Profile

Enter your company details to personalize your BuzzTrail experience:

  • Company Name - Displayed to meeting guests
  • Your Role - Helps customize the AI’s conversation style
  • Industry (optional) - Enables industry-specific conversation patterns

What Happens Next

After completing setup:

  1. Dashboard Access - You’ll land on your main dashboard showing upcoming and live meetings
  2. Calendar Sync - If you used Google OAuth, your calendar events will begin syncing automatically
  3. Personal Link - Your unique meeting link is ready to share
  4. Knowledge Training - You can add websites, documents, and past transcripts to train your AI

Verification and Billing

New accounts start with a trial period. You’ll see your remaining credits on the dashboard.

To continue after the trial:

  1. Navigate to Settings
  2. Select the Billing tab
  3. Add a payment method
  4. Choose your plan
